Article details diagnosing a sudden OBIEE authentication failure where users logged in via EBS were immediately logged out. The root cause was an F5 BIG-IP load balancer issuing session cookies with a past expiration date due to an incorrect system clock, breaking server affinity and causing session variable errors.
