I don't trust Signal

This article presents a detailed critique of the Signal messaging app's security claims. The author argues that Signal's historical and ongoing dependencies on Google Play Services and the Google Play Store, as well as its refusal to be distributed via F-Droid, create significant security tradeoffs that are not adequately communicated to users, especially those at high risk from powerful adversaries.
